The Gazette was never given to

The people of Tifton know what

Save Your Hair! Make it Thick,
Wavy and Beautiful-
Try This I
Thin, brittle, colorless and scrag
gy hair is mute evidence of a neg
lected scalp; of dandruff—that aw
ful scurf.
There is nothing so destructive to
the hair as dandruff. It robs the
hai r of its lustre, its strength and
its very life; eventually producing a
feverishness and itching of the scalp,
which if not remedied causes the
hair roots to shrink, loosen and die
—then the hair falls out fast. A
little Danderine tonight—now—any
time—will surely save your hair.
Get a 25-cent bottle of Knowl-
ton’s Danderine from any drug
store or toilet counter and after the
first application your hair will take
on that life, lustre and luxuriance
which is so beautiful. It will be
come wavy and fluffy and have the
appearance of abundance, an incom
parable gloss and softness; but what
will please you most will be after
just a few week’s use, when you
will actually see a lot of fine, down
hair—new hair—growing all over
the scalp.
Mr. Monk Proposes to Fight
Boll Weevil With Poultry.
Mr. S. S. Monk spent one day
this week In Macon, where he went
to purchase chickens for the poultry
farm which he proposes to establish
on his place a mile north of Tifton.
He did not buy, but got in touch
with poultry raisers, and will buy
later.
Mr. Monk intends stocking his
farm with about six hundred chick
ens, of select breed, and will go
into the poultry business on an ex
tensive scale. With the present
prices of chickens and eggs, poultry
ought to beat cotton, even at twenty
cents, and without the boll weevil.

FIRST TO CELEBRATE
Tifton Congratulntnd Wilton nnd
Jolificatod Ahead of Othort.
As usual when there is anything
doing, Tifton gets in the forefront
and stays there, as illustrated in the
celebration here of Wilson’s victory
Thursday night, a day ahead of all
the other towns and cities in the
state, so far as any one knows.
Towns and cities surrounding
Ifton celebrated Friday night and
the reason that Tifton was ahead of
the other places was because of the
fact that they had the news defi
nitely announcing the result of the
election at 1:30 Thursday afternoon,
while n number of the newspapers
over the state did not get the con
firmation until after midnight.
We are glad, of course, to have
been able to “beat" our neighbors
to it; but as the result is as it is
they need not feel badly over tho
matter.
The announcement is made that
ther will be a lot of purebred Here
ford and. Black Angus cattle offered
for sale at the stables of Samuel
Farkas, Albany, Ga., the stock to
arrive Saturday, November 18th.
According to the announcement,
this lot of cattle is exceptionally
good and they will be sold at reas
onable figures, considering the
grade.
They will be on sale for several
days, but those wishing to get the
pick of tho lot should go to Albany
and seo the stock as soon ns possi
ble after they get In.

The United Doctors arc experts
in the treatment of chronic diseas

nerves, heart, spleen, rheuma
tism, sciatica, tapeworm, leg
ulcer, weak lungs and those afflict

the skill of the family physicians,

No matter what your ailment may
be, no matter what others may.have
told you, no matter what experience
you may have had with other phy
