Ha joined the Primitive Baptist
church in hie younger days. He

each person eras glad to be there

I family and community were drawn
closer.
! The custom was widened this time
and near 500 people joined this Con
ger family and community in one
of the best celebrations ever held
! at what can properly be. called the
:Conger Family park.
! The forenoon was spent in singing
I led by J. H. Hutchinson. Dan Golf,
'John N. Golf and Elbert Con-er
| and assisted by the audience of the
younger set. The instrumental fea.
jture was kindly contributed by
| Misses N'pra Conger, Bessie May

| Supt Ammons was next and he
! devoted-his time to the educaional

responsibilities that would soon fall
j upon the youth of our country.
| By this time the rain had ceased
|and Abe Conger yelled "Dinner!"
After thanks were returned by Rev.
{ Mathews, the dinner, which had

The afternoon was a musical re

; ->“>• was spent and »'e left the Con-
