WILLIE R. CHEEK. OMEGA
Omega, Sept 26.—Mr. Willie R.
Cheek, son of Mr. and Mra. 0. F.
Chesk, died at hia home in Omega
Tuesday afternoon at 6 o'clock, aft
er a short sickness.
He was taken with a chill on
Thursday afternoon, of last week
with vomiting and gradually grew
worse until yesterday afternoon.
Willie was just blooming into
manhood—jnst had passed hia 18th
birthday—and was a boy of splendid j
character and highly respected.
He leaves father, mother, brother
and a sister, and many friends to
mourn hia death.
His father, Mr. O. F. Cheek, is
well known over South Georgia and
has taught singing schools in many
places.
The burial will be at Oak Grove,
ar Aabburn, today.
Mr. and Mrs. Cheek have the
sympathy of the whole ebmmunlty in
tifcir bereavement
J. J. Sorrell died at his home near
Berlin Tuesday morning. The end
come unexpectedly, though Mr. Sor
rell has not- been quite himself in
several weeks, and was probably due
paralysis. Mr. Sorrell will be
buried Wednesday.
