While the campaign for Y. M. C.
A. funds was supposed to have been
conducted last week. Tifton did not
make any. effort along this litic on
account of the fact that the lcadern
in the campaign had other matters
demanding their attention. Therse
iattca\ have been disposed of now
and a thorough canvass of Tifton
rill be made this week in an effort
o raise funds. Many other cities
tver the country arc in the same
boat with Tifton—they have post
poned their canvass until this week
Mr. Pidcock. of Moultrie, and Y
[. C. A. Secretary Branch came to
Tifton yesterday and attended n
committee meeting at the Board of
Trade office. Another ’ meeting
the Y. M. C. A. committee was held
last night in Chairman R. D. Smith's
office and plans for the campaign de
cided upon.

another committee was appointed to
make out cards for all the people in
Tifton that it is expected will give
to the Y. M. C- A. and divide thes.

will be done at a meeting this after

Nashville, Ga., Nov. 17. — The
city court had five days of civil
litigation last week. The first
case called Thursday was that of
J. J. Littlejohn vs. the Town of
Adel, the plaintiff suing for $10,-
