Tifton Sunday by Chief of Police

soner* for St. George Tuesday morn
ing. The husband wee carrying the

with the mother following and the
negro In the custody of the Sheriff.
The husband had Utile to say.
Sheriff Linehouse tirid Mr. Durr was
a farmer In good circumstances and
that the family was a prominent one.
The town of St Georgo was horrified
at the news that they had been arret,
ted here and would not believe the
first rumors that Mrs. Durr had run
off with a negro. When the little
boy saw his father he ran from him
screaming and had to be carried a-
