In the City Court of Tifton Saturday
morning, Judge Price granted a new trial
in the case of-Harrell vs. Puckett. This
case was a suit by S. Harrell against W.
A. Puckett for alleged damages for cut
ting timber. It was tried’at the February
term of court and a verdict returned in
Harrell’s favor for $225.

Negroes Fatally Hurt. *
Moultrie, March Throe negroes, a
woman nnd two children, residing on thc
farm of J. C. Walters, several miles north
of MofDtric, were seriously and perhaps
fatally injured late yesterday when the
house in which they lived was blown
down. Tho section in which the negroes
lived was swept by a tornado during the
afternoon. At Norman Park a ware
house was blown down and numerous out
houses were wrecked, in the northern

farm were the only persons hurt. The
property damage will amount to several
thousand dollars.
