' markets. He spent a week in Bultimore
and Ntw York and say» that city was
'crowded with buyers from all sections of
the country. Despite this heavy buying,
he had little trouble getting what he want
ed and as much of it as desired.
Mr. Stubbs estimated that while he
was in one salesroom they were handling
business aggregating nearly $10,000 an
hoar. Although be had no trouble sup
plying his wants, delivery on some lines
may be a little delayed, owing to the large
Volume of business. A few lines were
scarce tempo rarily because they were
oversold. Hosiery lines were the most
difficult to obtain. Prices were about the
same as last year.
