Lee Bowen, which took place nt the
home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Lizsie
Dorminey, in Brookfield, Sunday morning
at 10 o’clock, Rev. S. F. Bowen, pastor
of the Baptist church of Brookfield, of
ficiating.
The living room was artistically dec
orated in ferns and chrysanthemums, au
embankment of which formed the altar,
about which the family and immediate
friends of the contracting parties wit
nessed the simple but impressive cere
mony.
The bride wore as a traveling cos
tume, a salt of dark blue, a grey velvet
hat* with accessories to match, togeth
er with a aet of red fox furs.
Following a short reception, Mr. and
ft. Bowen left in their car for Jack-
iville and other points In Florida.
