Sell’s Bros.* Enormous Confed
eration of Railroad Show.
On Friday November 13 at Car
rollton the surrounding country
will have an opportunity of witness
ing what is undoubtedly the largest,
the best, the greatest and the purest
show on earth. Honest in its adver
tising, it exhibits everything it ad
vertises. Honest in the manner in
which it is conducted, it is free from
that obnoxious feature the “candy
butcher.” It is known the world
over as the most complete show, in
all its branches, ever beheld. The
Zoological collection embraces
every beast of which mankind has
any knowledge. The Star Arenic
exhibition, or circus proper, beats
the world, and consists of 200 star
artists, giving a wonderful exhibit
tion in the great circus rings, six
acts at one and the same time, or
a total of more than one hundred
are acts, in one exhibition, afternoon or
night,
What the Memphis Appeal says
regarding the wonderful show:
The Circus.—Such a crowd as
rushed in upon Sells Bros, last
evening is rarely seen at a circus,
even in Memphis. Long before
the performance coramenceed, it
was neccessary to close the doors—
there being from 11,000 to 12,000
people, packed like sardines in a
box, inside the tent. The perform
ance was an admirable oue though-
out, Willie Sells, who has no equal
as a bareback rider, Frank Gard
ner and Adelaide Cordona, all per
formed admirable equestrian acts.
The Dimond Brothers and Frank
Gardner proved themselves most
wonderful tumblers; Ada Purvis,
in a slack-wire and globe act was
artistic, the Stirk Family perform
ed wonders with the bicycle, and
M’lleMaretta was a most daring
aerial artiste. Each featu r e adver
tised was presented, and nothing
was indifferently performed. The
Sells Bros, are jnstly entitled to
the good name thy have won as
honest and excellent caterers to
the patrons of the sawdust arena.
We can say from our own knowl
edge thatth„e wonderful menagerie
is the grea test zoological collection
on earth, including all known quad
rupeds, wild and wonderful, eve!
classified in zoology. Including in
its vast’ entirety the only living
pair of hippotami'ever beheld, and
the only giraffes now on exhibition
anywhere. The completeness of the
shqw as a whole is'certainly un
equaled.

The Biggest Show That ever Ex
hibited Here.
There is no class of amusement
which may bee ailed universal, we
verily believe, unless it is the circus.
To be universal is to be in demand
and to be pleasing and to possess se
veral other attributes good and
commedable. Circuses, like all
things else, are granedp man has
his equal, his inferior, and his sup
erior, and circuses have the same
But we did not sit down to write of
circuses generally, but the greatest
of all circuses in particular, the
Sells Brothers’ Monster, Menagerie
and Great Quadruple Circus which
will spread its mountains of tents
and give two exhibitions at Carroll
ton on Friday November 13th.
For immensity, completeness,
perfection, and all things which go
to make up a great shew, we com
mend the above. Its menagerie is
the very best and largest ever seen.
Fifty huge cages of wild living ani
mals, embracing all 'the species
known to zoology, are to be found
in it. Droves of animals, herds of
animals, and hundreds ot led ani
mals, which, as a matter of course,
are not included. The only living
pair of hippopotami ever beheld in
captivity by man is to be seen with
the Sells’ show also—a wonder so
strange as to stand out as the great
unduplicated feature of the age.
Among the many surprises will
be discovered some splendid speci
mens of the giraffe, tall, graceful
perfect brutes, whose like are to be
seen nowhere else, and countless
other wonders too numerous to men
tion.
Among the 200 all-star perfor
mers of the arenic deparment of
the great shows,we note the follow
ing list of names, which to classify
properly our vocabulary furnishes
but one word—greatest.
Win. Sells, champion bareback
rider of the world.
The wondeful Stirk Family, Eu
rope’s bicyclists.
Mr. Frank H. Gardner, the cham
pion hurdle rider.
M’lle Maretta, the flying queen.
Senor Don Jerenimo Bell, the
greatest of all four and six-horse ri
ders.
The Leslie Brothers, head balan
cers.
M’lle Adelaide Cordona, the
champion lady bareback rider of
the earth.
Billy Burke, the king of clowns,
and his traiued donkeys and geese.
Whole troupes of acrobats, vaul-
ters, gymnasts, contortionists, jug
glers, etc. In short the whole is a
section of wonderland, full glorious
elegant and complete.
Don’t forget the date.
“Mark ye His Word.”
The golden gate to wealth is la
beled in gilt: FOR EVERY DOL
LAR GET VALUE RECEIVED.
A little volume would be requisite
to explain to some, but “A WORD
TO THE WISE IS SUFFICIENT.”
There is a young man at Bremen,
Ga., who searched dilligently (and
not in vain) the dull summer when
all was quiet to find the market
that has the best facility to manu
facture Ready-made Clothing, No
tions, Hats, Boots and Shoes and
all other articles commonly called
for respectively. He has purchased
a handsome stock of goods at mar
velous prices; thestyies are so well
selected that a competitor of twen
ty year’s experience is lost in sur
prise when he looks through the
-stock. Therefore a word to the La
dies: Do you want worsteds for 12
cents per yard that you have been
paying 17 cents, or Cashmere for
15cents,that you have been paying
22 cents, or 37 cents for that you
have been paying 50 cents or any
thing, else in ^notions or fine goods,
' i 30 per cent less than you ever
bought? And Gentlejnen what
about a suit of clothing just from
the factory, all wool, for $5.25, that
you have been paying $8.50, or a
worsted suit (stylish) at $7.50, that
you have been paying $12.50, or a
fine cassimere for $13.50, that you
never bought for less than $18.00
&c., or boots for $2.00, that you nev
er saw sold for less than $2.75, or
Hats from 25 cents up,"40 per cent,
out less than ever before known.
To those who are wide-a-wake
and would like to save money, I
would say, do not fail to call on,
Price, Nelson & Co.,
Bremen, Ga.,
Who are always glad to see you
And their greatjdelight is to please you.
