In Memoriam.
Mr. J. M. Spark’s death occurred
April lith, I908. He was born May
22nd, 1843, and was married to De-
Ionia O. Lassetter, Dec. 17th, 1868.
He was born near Black Dirt, Car-
roll county; when, about 15 years
old, he with his father, moved to
day county. Ala.
When 18 year old he inlisted as
a soldier and served four years in
the war. He never was wounded,
but had several holes shot through'
his clothing. He was once taken a
prisoner and had furlough home in
the four years At the close of the
war, he went back to his old home
in Alabama and lived there a few
years,Jthen came back to Georgia,
where he married and settled down,
at the place where he lived until
the Death Augel called him away.
He had been in feeble health for
several years. For the last four
years he had not done any work at'
all.
He was not a member of any
church, but he lost no opportunity
so far as we know of giving his
time and money to building up all
churches; he was always ready to
fill his place at church when he was
able to go, but said in his last days
that he had been careless and had
not done his duty and wanted h’st-
children not to be careless like he
had been; and we hope they will
not forget the last words of their
father.
He felt that he had been forgiven,
for the bible says. “Forgive and ye
shall be forgiven.”
He leaves a wife and six children,
three girls and three boys to mourn
his untimely death; one son in Cull
man, Ala. He has gone, the one
we love best, and when we think,,
no more we will see his smiling
face on this earth, how hard it is
to say, “Thy will be done oh, God.”*"
Yet why should we grieve, when
we remember that he has past over
the river where we must soon go,.
On, how lonely is the home with
out husband and father, while the-
dark show of sorrow hovers over
the lonely wife and children and it
seem an irreparable loss, we realize-
it is his gain. We recommend
these a higher power than we, and
hope the Lord will shed bright rays-
of light all around each of their
paths of life, leading them on to- ‘
God. Yet it is so hard to realize-
that he is gone, and we can never
more look in his face, no more in
this world, we look through our
tears and said, “Thy will be done,.,
oh. God,” in humble submission^
we bow.

A great many people imagine-
they ha\/e heart trouble when the
fact is that the whole trouble lies in
the stomach. The pains in the side-
around the region of the heart are-
not necessarily his trouble. We
suggest you start with the stomach
and whenever you feel a depression,
after eating or whenever your food'
seems to nauseate take Kodol. It
will not be very long until all these
"heart pains” will disappear. Take'
Kodol now and until you know you-
are right again, There isn’t any
doubt about what it will do and you?
will find the truth of this statement
verified after you have used' Kodol-
for a few weeks. It is sold here by
