Garrett Reunion
One of the most interesting
events recently was the Garrett
reunion Jheld at Bethel | Camp
Ground Wednesday, July 20th.
The Garrett family is one of the
most numerous as well as one of
the best and most highlyjrespect-
ed families in the county, and it
has been their custom for several
years to meet iu an annual re
union, and Jthis is one lof the
many successful reunions they
have held.
In addition to about two hun*
dred relatives of the family,
many of their tiiends from Car
rollton and other sections of the
county were in attendance and
enjoyed the hospitality ol this
remarkable family.
The forenoon Jwas pleasantly
spent in greeting friends and
relatives and in renewing old
acquaintainces, jthen came a
choice and bountiful basket din*
ner thax well attests the prosper*
ity, as well as the hospitality ol
these sturdy citizens |of Carroll.
In the alternoon speeches
were made by Hon. W. C.
Adamson and others, Upon the
whole the occasion was a very
pleasant one.
Villa Rica, we are reliably
informed, is taking active steps
toward the contemplated railroad
from Carrollton to run to and
and through it. We would be
glad to be in close touch with
that hustling little city.

This Is Our Profitless Season
Your Money-Saving Season
We are in business for profit, but from now on
we must give our whole attention to the rednetion
of stocks, regardless of profit—*a step which good
merchandising demands at this time of the year.
Now is when you can make the profit which
usually falls to the clothier, with no rent, heat, light
and other selling expenses deducted. You are not
going to let the chance slip by, are you?
A fine collection of models, fabrics and pat
terns in all sizes from which to make selections.
Sale is now in progress. Gome early.
Protracted Meeting

tion to attend these services.
