In Memory of Jesse B Williamson.
On the fifth of February, 1911,
that grim Monster, Death, visited
our Lodge and claimed for his victim
Bro. Jesse B. Williamson. Bro. Will
iamson was born September 29,1875,
joined the Methodist church at Shilo
in August 1891, and was married to
Miss Kate Haney December 14,1899.
He leaves a wife, three children, an
aged mother and a host of other rela
tives and friends to mourn his depart
ure.
He was initiated into the Masonic
Fraternity at Rotherwood, F.&.A. M.
No. 170 May 20, 1899; was passed
to the Fellow Craft Deg. June 3 1899;
and was raised to the Sublime Deg.
of Master Mason June 17 1899. Bro
Williamson served with perpect sat
isfaction to the brethern, in several
important positions.
Weep not, dear wife; for Jesse has
gone to rest in Paradise with the re
deemed. Prepare to meet him in
that glorious land beyond the stars.
To the two little boys, B. and Edgar,
we would fay, "Be good and make
useful and honorable men. Be kind
to mamma and prepare to meet papa
in heaven. To little Ruby, the only
girl and baby of the family, we
would say; “Be a bright and shining
light in the home; cheer dear mamma
and prepare.to meet papa in a ^better
world.
While we grieve to give up our be
loved brother, we are assured that
our loss is his eternal gain..'
Therefore be it resolved by ’'Roth
erwood Lodge No. 170 F. &. A. M.:
1st, That we commend the bereaved
family to Him who doeth all things
well and binds up the broken heart.
2nd, That our Lodge has lost one
of its brightest jewels—one whom
we shall greatly miss from our Lodge
room.
3rd, That we recommend that a
copy|of these resolution be spread on
our minute book; that one be fur
nished the family of the bereaved
and that the Cqrroll Free Press and
Carroll County Times be requested
to publish the same.
Resptfully submitted,
