This religious body will meet in
Villa Rica next Tuesday evening,
September 19th, 1911, at 7:30 o’clock,
m., and will be in session two or
three days. The Presbytery meets
twice each year in April and Sep

church, whether large or small is
entitled to only one representative

not more than 60 or 75 representa

gave to foreign missions $18,439.00,

For two years the First Baptist
Sunday school has been rapidly in
creasing in efficiency and attend
ance, and for some time the man
agement of the school has been
leaving no stone unturned to con
form to the “Standard of Excellence”
required by the Sunday School
Board at Nashville before a school
can be classed “A-L"
When the school had one hun
dred and forty-three bibles present
in the school last Sunday morning,
the entire standard was attained,
and the application for the award
of A-l was forwarded to Nashville.
The First Baptist Sunday school
becomes A-l first out of more than
two thousand Baptist Sunday
schools in Georgia The following
letter explains:

Protracted Meeting
Dr. H. C. Buchholz, dean of the
evangelistic corps of the State Mis
sion Board, is preaching with great
power morning and evening at the
First Baptist church. His sermons
are masterpieces, his style is simple,
his illustrations remarkably well-
chosen.
The singing of Mr. Williams is
adding much to the service. And
Miss Buchholz at the piano is in
dispensable.
Very large congregations are at
tending the meeting, especially at
the evening hour.
Sunday will be Decision Day in
the Sunday school, and the eleven
o’clock service will be a rally for
Baptists whose membership is else
where, but who are living in Car
rollton. All such are earnestly
urged to unite with one of the Bap
tist churches here Sunday.
