THREE REASONS
1. Depositing money in a bank makes it absolutely safe
from loss by robbery, fire or accident.
2. With a bank account you can pay your bills by check.
The cancelled check is a legal reciept for payment and you cannot
be made to pay the bill twice.
3. Nearly every man needs to borrow money sometime. If
you are well known at this bank through your bank account it is
easy for you to get accommodations.
The bright standard this bank has set for itself in the conduct
of its business is a protection to its depositors in every emergency
and under all circumstances. It insures them against reckless
speculation and the get rich-quick-fever, and it is a guarantee that
what ever the profits may be they have been earned by prudent,
conservative business management in which there is not a single
element of danger. We like to have prospective patrons examine
us regarding these claims to strength and stability.

Turko-ltalian War
Turkey and Italy are engaged in
war. Nothing of importance has
been done in the way of fighting.
Both nations are getting ready for
the conflict which may lengthen
out to some months, or which may
be terminated any hour, as other
nations are interested in peace be
ing made.
Turkey has practically no fleet
with which to fight on the waters
and Italy has much the advantage
in this way. The two powers are
otherwise pretty equally matched.

Pistol Law is Constitutional
In a 50-page decision, which con
tained a dissenting opinion by Jus
tice Atkinson, the supreme court
with Justice Beek absent, certified
the law’s constitutionality to the
court of appeals in the test case
from the city court of Carrollton’ on
Thursday.
In no mis'akable terms the court
held that the statute was good and
did not conflict with states funda
mental law. It was clearly an at
tempt to exercise such police power
as was granted to the state in its
constitution, nothing more.
The case was appealed from the
Carrollton court to the appellate
court several months ago and was
put up as the test case of the license
law. Upon its decision hung the
fate of at least a score of cases, all
appealed upon the same grounds,
the law’s: constitutionality.
Thepistol license law requires
that a license must be secured from
the court of ordinary before a pistol
may be carried and a list of the reg-
stered numbers of each gun be
kept in the office of the ordinary.

INEW Y08.10,
A DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER
can kill more trade for us than a pleased customer can
create.
It is our policy, therefore, to give such complete
clothes satisfaction that a dissatisfied customer is an im
possibility.
We depend on our clothes to please our customers
and you, too, can depend on them.
They are gentlemen’s garments, made of fine ma
terials, with fine linings and strong “interiors,” just
like an exclusive tailor would make them, with just as
much style and hand work to guarantee fit and wearing
qualities.
The only difference is that they cost less; much
less than any tailor would charge.
For grown-ups of any age, and build, from 15 to 25.
Suits $7.50 to $25.00
