farmers! Farmers! Farmers!
Farmers should try the experiment for one year
of keeping a bank account and see if it does not
pay.
A large number of our best farmers have ac
counts with us now, but we will not be fully satis
fied until every farmer in the county has one.
Service and safety are prime essentials in a
bank. We offer you both.

Miner Still at Large
“Old Bill” Miner, alias George An
derson, alias George Budd, alias A.
E. Miner, alias “Old Bill,” is still at
large and from all that can be heard
of him through the police,. sheriffs
and detectives of the state he is apt
to remain at large for some time.
No word of the oldest and most suc
cessful train robber now alive ha9
been heard since his escape at the
state farm at Milledgeville Monday
morning.
The police, detectives and sheriffs
are all on the watch for the old
man with a wrinkled, weatherbeaten
face, an unkempt, drooping mus
tache and a stooped figure. This
is “Old Bill” and he is probably in
the company of two other men, one
a young man, Thomas H.Moore, and
another about forty-one years of
aged named John Watts.
These three undoubtedly started
out from the state farm together on
the morning of their escape, but it is
said by the police who are best ac
quainted with "Old Bill” and his
ways that he will soon "loose" his
other traveling companions and
make the trip alone to the spot he
has picked out for a hiding place.- -
