A SERIES FROM LIN DALE
Carrollton this week won the
third series of the season from
Undale, the games being played
here the first of the week. The
first game however was dropped to
the visitors, 9 to 8, in a game mark
ed by much hitting and running.
Styles, or Villa Rica, former
‘Southern leaguer, pitched for Car
rollton Tuesday, and was not scored
on after the first inning. Green
wood, who pitched for l.indalc af
ter the first inning, allowed but
one hit, but the game had been de-1
termined in lhe first.
Tile third game was won by the
