The long expected in this communi
ty has at last occurred, and the sweet
spirit of Mrs. Olin L. Bird, nee Miss
Addic McLeod, returned to God who
gave it at H p. m. Saturday, October
12, 191-, at about the age of 43 years,
after a long and seemingly hopeless ill
ness, during which all that kindness
and skill could do, was done to keep it
in its frail tenement of clay. Addic
was n good girl and a splendid woman
and a loved and loving wife, a member
of the church and, have no doubt, a

ton thirty-five or forty cases of Spanish In
fluenza, and upon recommendation of the
Board, the Mayor and City Council hereby
orders that all Schools, Churches, Sunday
Schools, Picture Shows, Pool Rooms, Social
and Public Gatherings of every kind be closed
until further notice.
All Persons Are Warned
not to spit on the sidewalks nor on the floors
of any buildings within the City.
Parents are directed and warned to keep
their children at home.
All physicians are requested to report
daily to the City Clerk in compliance with
the City Ordinar.ee.
