Hannah is critically ill at this writing.
Mr. George Spradlin, of Gravel Crest,
spent the week-end with liomefolks at
Rock Mount, Meriwether county.
The shadow party at Mr. Frankie
Brown’s last Saturday night was en
joyed by all present.
Mr. John Tuggle and family, of Go
shen, spent Saturday night with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tuggle, at
Roopville.
Messrs. H. W. Dorough and Sam Gar-
rel made a business trip to Carrollton
Friday afternoon.
Misses Berta and Kansas Hannah
spent Saturday night with their aunt,
Miss Minnie Howard.
Miss Ruby Dorough, of Gravel Crest,
spent Saturday with her grandmother,
Mrs. J. R. Dorough, at Glenloch.
As there lias been some inquiry as
to who put. sand on the graves at Go
shen cemetery and wanting to compen
sate us for same, will say it was done
free and no charges are made whatever.
Mrs. Lizzie Howard was the first in
this vicinity to have beans from her
garden this year.
Mr. L. H. Hannah and family visited
Mr. W. C. Howard and family at Roop-
villc Sunday.
Mr. H. W f Dorough and family spent
Sunday afternoon with Mrs. F. M. Han
nah.
Mr. Bob Folds and family, of Goshen,
visited Mr. Floyd Thornton at New
Lebanon Sunday.
