SAGE TEA DANDY
TO DARKEN HAIR
It's Grandmother’s Recipe to
Bring Back Color and
Lustre to Hair
You can turn gray, faded hair beau
tifully dark and lustrous almost over
sight if you’ll get a bottle of “Wyeth’s
Sage and Sulphur Compound" at any
drug store. Millions of bottles of this
•Id famous Sage Tea Recipe, improved
by the addition of other ingredients,
are sold annually, say well-known drug
gists here, because it darkens the hair
so naturally and evenly that no one can
tell it has been applied.
Those whose hair is turning gray or
becoming faded have a surprise await-
kig them, because after one or two ap
plications .the gray hair vanishes and
your locks become luxuriantly dark and
beautiful
This is the age of youth. Gray-
baired, unattractive folks aren’t wanted
around, so get busy with Wyeth’s Sage
and Sulphur Compound to-night and
you’ll be delighted with your dark,
handsome hair and your youthful ap
pearance within a few days.
Drink Water
If Back or
Kidneys Hurt
Begin Taking Salta if You Feel
Backachy or Have Bladder
Weakness
Too much rich food forms acids which
excite and overwork the kidneys in
their efforts to filter it from the system.
Flush the kidneys occasionally to re
lieve them like you relieve the bowels,
removing acids, waste and poison, else
you may feel a dull misery in the kid
ney region, sharp pains in the back or
sick headache, dizziness, the stomach
sours, tongue is coated, and when the
weather is bad you have rheumatic
twinges. The urine is cloudy, full of
sediment, the channels often get irri
tated, obliging one to get up two or
three times during the night.
To help neutralize these irritating
acids and flush off the body’s urinous
waste, begin drinking water. Also get
about four ounces of Jad Salts from
any pharmacy, take a tablespoonfu! in
a glass of water before breakfast for
a few days and your kidneys may then
act fine and bladder disorders disappear.
This famous salts is made from the
acid of grapes an.d lemon juice, com
bined with lithh, and has been used
for years to help clean and stimulate
sluggish kidneys and stop bladder irri
tation. Jad Salts is inexpensive and
■takes, a delightful effervescent lithia-
water drink which millions of men and
women take now and then to help pre
vent serious kidney and bladder dis
orders.
By all means, drink lots of good water
every day. Have your physician exam- |
ine your kidnevs at least twice a year. I

Dear Free Press:
Quite a number of changes among
our neighbors aro spoken of in this
community for another year.
It is rumored that Mr. Tom Webb,
Jr., will move from the Crook place to
a place of Garland Buckelew, near Mt.
Zion, and n negro is Baid to be coming
in his stead. A negro is coming to tho
Lancaster place and, it is said, that
one is to come where our friend, E. C.
Gnrrett, now lives. Wo hope this all
may not be true, but that, now, is the
talk.
Mr. and Mrs. “Coot” Hnll are to
move away and also Mr. and Mrs. John
Bartlett and family. Many others, too,
are to move—some nway and some in.
But this is a world of change and we
need not bo surprised at the changes.
Some of our good neighbors have the
measles and others have been exposed
to them nnd are expecting to have
them, too.
Rev. G. W. Edmondson is off teaching
a good little school now, and wo regret
to hear that ho may nlso move from
our community. We need such men as
ho in every community, and wo shall
regret for him and his to go away.
Dingier—Bohannon
Miss Bernico Dingier and Mr. Hugh
Bohannon, two prominent members of
cur community, were married on Sunday
evening by the Rev, Mr. Hammond.
And now the hunter’s winding horn,
Throughout the land is heard;
After the game from night till morn,
Even after tho bird!
The bird, tile farmer’s faithful friend,
That helps eat the weevil;
To kill the bird, my dearest friend,
You know must work evil.
So lot, it live, its aid to givo,
And Bing from tree to tree;
Mny all to it protection give,
Just so docs, J. W. B.

“Feeling
Fine!”
"1 was pale and thin, hardly
able to go,” says Mrs. Bessie
Bearden, of Central, S- C. "I
would suffer, when I stood on
my feet, with bearing-down
pains in my sidesand the lower
part of my body. 1 did not rest
well and didn’t want anything
to eat. My color was bad ana
1 felt miserable. A friend of
mine told me of
MUM
The Woman’s Tonic
and I then remembered my
mother used to take it.. . After
the first bottle I was better. I
began to fleshen up and I re
gained my strength and good,
healthy color. 1 am feeling fine.
1 took twelve bottles (of Cardui)
and haven’t had a bit of trouble
since.”
Thousands of other women
have had similar experiences in
the use of Cardui, which has
brought relief where other
medicines had failed.
If you suffer from female ail
ments, take Cardui. It is a
woman’s medicine. It may be
hist what you need.
