T'.i many friends ol Mrs. Lizzie S ' >mm wife Mr. P s Tatum of this place, will be grieved to learn of sml death which occurred at her home yesterday morning, the Oth, about !l o'clock after a brief illness. She became ill hist Thursday and grew worse gradually till yesterday when she succumbed to the strong arm of the reaper—death. All that a kind husband, a loving mother and sisters and the best skilled phy sicians could do to prolong life was of no avail. She was the eldest daughter of Mrs. (1 A Dean and was 3+ years old. She had been married 8 years and leaves a husband and three children. Mrs. Tatum was a good Christian woman, a devoted wife and loving mother and leaves a host of relatives and friends who will mourn for her. The Chronicle extends sympathy to the bereaved family in this sad hour of affliction. The remains of Mrs. Tatum was hurried to day at the Stubbs Ceme tery. A large concourse of friends and relatives accompanied the corpse to the grave and witnessed the last sad rite. A cough is not like a fever. It does not have to run a certain course.
