Save Your Hay.
South Georgia Home: The home
would press upon our farmers the
importance of saving every pound of
hay possible this fall. And by all
means to be economical in using
their grain crops. News from the
West, the great grain and hay pro
ducing section of the union, is not
merely unfavorable, but actually
distressing. The latest reports from
there say that scarcely anything will
be made. The long drought and
hot winds have parched all manner
of vegetation, and tile people trem -
ble at the desolation. Our farmers
must look out for their supply of
hay and grain this year for next,
for the West will not be able to sup
ply it. And what an occasion it is
for saving some extra for market
and realizing handsome prices for it.
