she stopped for a wreck that had just occurred in front of her. Margaret Lea Barton, Atlanta, was driv
ing in the same direction when she changed lanes at the last minute and struck Fancil’s vehicle.
Harassing phone calls, thefts among incidents reported

the theft of tools are among the
incidents reported to the Jackson
County Sheriff’s Office last week.
Incidents reported include the fol
lowing:
•a Hoschton woman said her
husband, who she is separated
from, has been making harassing
phone calls to her.
•tools, trays, a vacuum cleaner
and other items taken from a
Holly Springs Road, Maysville,
address.
•vehicle taken from a Billy Dean
Drive, Jefferson, location.
•CB radio taken from a vehicle
parked at a Bill Wright Road,
Jefferson, address.
•air condition unit taken from
a Harris Lord Cemetery Road,
Commerce, location.
•copper wire taken from a home
under construction at a River Glen
Subdivision, Nicholson, address.
•fence damaged at a Martin
Road, Talmo, location.
•tire and rim taken from a vehi
cle at an Oak Grove Road, Athens,
address.
•criminal trespass at an Albert

arrested last week by the Jackson
County Sheriff’s Office following
incidents at school.
A 13-year-old Nicholson boy
was charged with allegedly hav
ing a knife, a bullet and some
documents, including a notebook

stems from Luthi allegedly put
ting hand sanitizer in a teacher’s
tea while he was in in-school

Two juveniles charged in incidents at school
A JEFFERSON man was arrest
ed following a stabbing during a
domestic dispute last week.
Barry Ford, 792 Lavender Road,
Jefferson, was charged with aggra
vated assault.
The victim approached an

venience store parking lot and
reported that he had been stabbed.
The victim said his girlfriend was
in a dispute with Ford and the man
threw something at her. The victim
said he stood up to confront Ford
