Thunder, Wind and Rain. —Yesterday evening our city was visited by a very, heavy wind and rain, which lasted for sometime. Shade trees, fences and chim neys were blown down, and at one time it was thought that some of the buildings were canied away. Fatal Affrays at the South. —A few days ago, at the White Sulphur Springs,, ru Florida, Col. Richard luge Wynne, a lawyer, attempted to chastise Dr. (Juries with’his cane, when the latter jerked his cane away, struck W ytme a blow with the head, which broke it, and then run the sword into his body.
