Skinner one of the Proprietors of the Globe Hotel in Augusta Ga. Tin’ Byronic Blacksmith. —The London correspondent of the Manchester Guardian mentions “the curious fact that the son and heir of Lord Lovelace, late Lord Ockham, and now,by Lady Byron's death, Baron Wentworth, and heir to the very large landed property bequeathed by the poet’s widow, is now working at Wool wich Arsenal, as a smith, at weekly wa ges.” This is a very pretty story, which loses nothing in the hands of a translator and a correspondent of the Independance *Betgr., who adds, with fine dramatic in stinct, bringing in the inevitable “Melon of Troy.” “His pay is thirty shillings a week. I ‘have seen him at work in the shop with •us much pluck and industry as any of his ’mates, Between ourselves, there is at the -bottom—or rather at the top—of this ec centric proceeding a young and Dretty girl of the lower order, whom his Lord ship is unwilling to abandon, even to live in the highest and most envied sphere of Society.” We regret to spoil so “sweet a romance” but the facts in the case do the mischief, and not we. Lord Wentworth has exhib ited a very decided taste and talent for mechanics, and has foi some years past been perusing his studies practically un der the supervision of Mr. Scott Russell. It is an established fact, that all diseases a ring front IMPURE fiLOODI The blood is the life I and when any foreign or unhealthy matter gets mixed with it, it is at once distributed to every organ of the body Every nerve feels the poison, aud all tlie vital organa quickly complain. Tbw'tdoaiaeU will not digest the food perfectly. The liver censes to secrete a sufficiency of bile. The action of the heart is weakened, and so .the circulation is feeble. The lungs become clogged with the poisonous matter ; hence, a cough—and all from a alight impurity at the fountain head of life—the Blood I As if you had thrown r ueiv earth, for instance, in a pure spring, from wliioh ran a tiny rivulet, in a few minutes the whole course of the stream becomes disturbed aud discolored. As quickly does impure blood fly to every part, and leave its sting behind. All the passages become obstructed, and unless the obstruction is removed, the lamp o r life soon dies out. These pills net only purify the blood, but regenerate ail the secretions of the body; they are, therefore, unrivalled as a CURE FOR BILIOUS DISEASES, I .leer Complaint, Sick Headache, &c. This Antillihoi * Medicine expels from the blood the hidden seeds of dis ease, and renders all the fluids and secretions pure and fluent, clearing and resuscitating the vital organs. Pleasant indeed, is it to ns, that we are able to place within your reach, a medicine like the “Mountain tlKnu PiUB,” that will pass directly to tlie utllicted parts, through the blood and fluids of the body, and eatis* the sufferer to brighten with the flush of beauty antt’ health.
