Fever and Ague,
from which mankind suffer over a large part of th
globo, is the consequence of a diseased action in tba
avstom, induced by the poisonous miasm of vegetable
decay. Thia exbalatiou is evolved by the action of
solar heat on wet soil, and rises with the watery vopon
from it. While the sun is below the horiaon this tw
por lingers near the earth’s surface, and the viru* l
is taken with it through the lungs into the biood.-
Thcre it acts as an irritating poison on the internal
viscera and excreting organs of the body. The livar’ -
becomes torpid and fails to secrete not only this virtfs.

the bile accumulate in the circulation, and producw
violent constitutional disorder. The spleen, the kid*

orgat.'e™, as if in an attempt to expel the noxious
infusio.’b concentrates tho whole blood of the body
in the iu/crnal exerctorics to force them to cast it out.

tern as it is absorbed, and thus keepo those who u_t

ahhough exposed to the disease. Consequent‘T it uofi
only cures, but protects from, the great variety C’

Stomach and Bowels, ull of which, wiicn arising from
this cause, will he found to assume more or leas th*
intermittent typo. This “Ague Curb” removes th*
cause of these derangements, and cures the disease.
This it accomplishes by stimulating the cxcretorios
to expel the virus from the system; and these organ*
by degrees become habited to do this their office of
their own accord. Ilcnce arises what wc terra acci'-
matton. Time may accomplish the same end, but
oftc-n life is not long enough, or Is sacrificed in th*
attempt, while this “ Ague Cure” docs it at ones,
and with safety'. We have great reason to believe thia
is a surer as well as safer remedy for tho whole cl as*
of discuses which are caused by the miasmatic Infec
tion, than any other which has been discovered; and
it has still another important advantage to the pub
lic, which is, that it is cheap as well as good.
