HELMBOLD’S GENUINE PREPARATIONS.

COMPOUND FLUID EXTRACT BUCIIU.—For diseases of
the Bladder and Kidneys, Strictures, Weaknesses, and all diseases
of the Sexual Organs, whether in Male or Female, from whatever
cause they may have originated, and no matter of how long stand
ing.
If you have contracted the terrible disease which, when once
seated in the system, will surely go down from one generation to
another, undermining the constitution and sapping the very vital
fluids of life, do not trust yourself in the hands of Quack*, who
startup every day in a city like this, and fill the papers with glar
ing falsehoods, too well calculated to deceive the young, and those
not acquainted with their tricks. You cannot be too careful in the
selection of a remedy in these cases.
The Fluid Extract. Pitchu ha been pronounced by eminent phy
sicians the greatest remedy ever known. It is a medicine perfect
ly pleasant in its taste, and very innocent in its action, and yet o
thorough that it annihilates every particle of the rank and poison
ous virus of this*]readful disease ; and, unlike other remedies, does
not dry up the disease in the blood.
Constitutional Debility, brought on by self-abuse, a most terrible
disease, wh ch has brought thousands of the human race to un
timely'raves, thus blasting the brilliant hopes of parents, and
blighting in the bud the glorious ambition of many a noble youth,
can be cured by this Infallible U medy. And as a medicine which
must b**n<dit everybody, from the simply delicate to the confined
and despairing invalid, no equal is to be found acting both as a
Cure and preventive.
IIELMBOLD’S HIGHLY CONCENTRATED
Com pound fluid Extract Sarsaparilla.
For Purifying the Blood, removing all diseases arising from ex
cess of Merc ry, exposure and imprudence in life, chronic consti
tutional disease, arising from an impure state of the Bloo*., and
the only reli ide and effectual know n remedy for the cure of tVrof
ula, SaU Rheum, Scald Head, Ulcerations of the Throat and Legs,
Pains and Swellings of the Bones, Tetter, Pimples on the Face, and
all Scaly Eruptions of the Skin.
This article is now prescribed by some of the most distinguished
physicians in the country, a id has proved more etficient in prac
tice than any preparation of Sarsaparilla yet offered to the public.
Several cases of secondary Syphilis, Mercurial and Scrofulous and s
eases have entire'y recovered in the incurable wards of our Public
Institutions which had for many years resisted every mode of
treatment that could be devised. These cases furnish striking ex
amples of the salutary effects of this medicine in arresting some of
the most inveterate diseases, after the glands were destroyed, and
the bones already affected.
Noticb. —Letters from responsible Physicians and Professors of
several Medical Colleges, ami certificates of cures from patients
will be found accompanying both Preparations.
Prices—Fluid Extract of Buchu, $1 per bottle, or 6 bottles for $5.

171011 many years it has been the object of deepest study with

to the world that will effect this most desirable object. But three
or four applications are necessary to curl it as much as may he

of those who have used it, the subscriber does not hesitate to war

VOLCANIC REPEATING PISTOLS.
Tallis PISTOL can be discharged with greater rapidity
and certainty th in any other pistol now in use. The follow
ing is an extract in relation to them, talcen from the New Haven
Palladium:
“Volcanic Repeating Pistol.—-We have seen and fired a pistol,
recently invented and patented which bids fair to excel everything
as yet off* red iu that line to the public attention. Ii seetns to
combine all that could be desired in sucli a weapon. Colt’s pistol
compared with it .•‘eems like a distortion, or a clumsy, uncouth and
ridiculous iff.iir for a fire-arm. The volcanic pistol carries a Minie
or conical ball, in a rifle barrel, and will put it through a three inch
pl.-snk at a distance of ninety rods. The receiving tube will hold
twelve ball cartridges, which may he deposited in two seconds time.
The pistols may he discharged thirty times in fifty seconds. It ib
so contrived that it is not liable to accidental discharge. There is
no priming, no caps, and, therefore, no danger to the eyes from
any ignition near the breach. Neither is there any recoil so as to
jar the arm or disturb a sure aim. The whole construction is so
simple as not to get out of order even from long use. The powder
and hall are enclosed in the same metalic cover, so that a person
might swim a river with one of these in his belt without the slight
est degree injuring the powder, lu short, the weapon is in all re
spects one of the most perfect things in the shooting line that we
ever took into our hands.”
