Tlte following is an interesting case of a man
employed in an iron Foundry, who, in pouring
melted iron into a flnsk that was damp and wet.
caused an explosion. The melted iron was thrown
around and on him in a perfect shower, and lie
was burnt dreadfully. The following certifieat,
was given to me by him about eight weeks after
the accident.

My name is Jacob Hardy; I am an Iroo Eoun
der; I wiis badly burnt by hot iron in November
last; iny burns healed, but I had a running sore
on my leg that would not heal; 1 tried Maggie!'*
