Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Sparks, of Quit
man, spent yesterday in the city. They
had been spending a few days with
the mother of Mr. Sparks, in Pike
county, who has been critically ill for
some weeks, but was thought to be
better yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. Sparks
left last night for Quitman.
