M. Comer, of tbs Cen tral railroad, Miss Comer and Miss Haywood came op from Savannah yesterday in Mr. Comer's private car and spent the day wi’b friends at Cimp Norihen. The Daughters of Confederacy held a pleasant meeting in the Y. M. C. A. parlors yesterday afternoon. There was a large attendance of members and the names of several new mem bers were enrolled. J. H. Nunnally and Winsbip Nun nally, of Atlanta, arrived in Griffin yesterday to visit their friend, Judge Eobt. T. Daniel. Winahip Nunnally is a bright, manly young man and will be warmly welcomed by the many friends of bis father. P. This section was visited by a very severe wind yesterday afternoon,which blew the dost ia perfect clouds, mak ing it aitnosl impossible to get out of doors.
