The contractors began work on the Methodist church yesterday, which will be remodeled throughout and ele gant stained glass windows substituted for the antique lights now need. When tbe contemplated improvements have been made it will be one of the hand somest church edifices in Middle Georgia—a monument to its member ship and an honor to our city. Young Gray, of Birdie, while driv ing to this city yesterday morning, was run into by a run away horse at tached to a wagon and thrown from his buggy.
