White, of Phenix City, Ala arrived in the city last night and will be the guejt of relatives here for a short while. Mias Gwendolyn Tyna, of Milner, arrived in the city yesterday and for several daya will be the guest of Miss Evelyn Reid. Miss Arabelle Horne, of Washing ton, D. C ,arrived in the city yesterday and will spend several days here visits ing relatives and friends. Mrs. Royal Daniel and son, Master Royal Daniel, Jr, returned to their homo in Atlanta yesterday after spending some time with relatives and friends in this city. The many friends of Reeves Brown in thio city will be glad to learn that hie condition is much better and that instead of'typhoid fever, as was at first feared, his illness may prove only a bilious attack. Messrs. R. T Daniel, W. D. Davie, J. L. Reid, B 0 Randall and J no. B. Milla returned yeaterday from Savan nah, where they attended the grand lodge I. 00. F. They report having had a delightful time, and are enlbn« siaatic over the hospitable treatment they received at the bands )f the citi sens of the Forest City. After a long and painful illness Mr. W. W. Ward passed away Bunday morning at six o’clock. His remains were buried at Old Hebron Monday morning. He leaves three rone, Messrs. James, William and John, and two daughters, Misses Ella and Bena. He was 66 years of age and was one of our moat highly respected citiseos, and bia name was synonymous with honesty and integrity.
