All the north bound trains yesterday
were from one to two hours late,which
was very annoying to the large num

Atlanta. If the roads cared anything
for the comfort of their patron* they
would run extras, and give every one
a seat, and run on schedule time.
Miss Estelle Mynaon, who has been
in the millinery department at Base
Bros, during the past season, left yes
terday for Atlanta where she will
spend a few days before returning to
her boms in Baltimore. Mias Jfynson
made many friends during her stay
here who regret to know of her de
parture, but hope for her return next
season
Dike Gray, a deserter from Captain
Burr’s company, was captured yester
day and carried back to camp. Col.
Candler ordered the boys to ride him
out of camp ou a rail and give him a
good thrashing. The boys, as all good
soldiers do, carried out the orders of
their officer and Gray will long re
meruby the day when he was escorted
from Camp Nortben.
