Be it or dallied by the mayor and council of tbe city of Griffin, and it is hereby ordained by authority of same. That from And af ter the passage of this ordinance tbe City Attorney shall hold bls office for tbe term of two years and until his successor is elected and qualified, and shall be elected by ballot by the mayor and council of said city at tbe last meeting in November, 1898, and at the same meeting bl-anually thereafter. Be it further ordained that all ordinances and parts of ordinances in con flict with this ordinance be, and the same are hereby repealed.
