Allford waa Blending with bia bark to tbe engine u the train waa pulling out lor Colnnabna, and came near be ing .truck by Taylor atreet bridge, but waa warned juat in time by another train band wbo waa standing near by. Aa the train pacaed under the laat bridge, Allford aeemed to bare forgot ten ita existence, and waa atanding with hia back to tbe engine looking toward tbe cab, when tbe bridge atruck him in tbe back of tbe bead, knocking him orer between two care. Hie com panion grabbed at him, but falling to eatcb him, saw him fall bead foremoat upon tbe track between the can, and inatantly killed.
