City Court.
Yesterday was a busy day lor Judge
Hammond, wbo is holding city court
at the court bouse.
D. T. Hood was tried for running a
blind liger, and dismissed.
Dave Bailey, colored, was found not
guilty of larcepy from the house
Four negroes were tried, three for
carrying concealed weapons and one
for stealing a horse. They were given
fines ranging from S3O to SSO or equal
number of days.
One witness was fined $5 or 10 days
for failure to appear in court, while
a juror was fined $lO for same offense.
