The Funeral ef Mrs. Grantland
The funeral of Mrs. S. Grantland
was held yesteaday morning at St.
George's church, with the impressive
ceremonies of tbe Episcopal denomi
nation. The church was beautifully
decorated with flowers, the coffin be
ing placed upon a raised bed of bloa
some and foliage. The favorite
hymns of tbe deceased were suDg
at the church, "Lead, kindly light,‘‘
“Jesus, savior of my soul," and
“Asleep in Jesus;*' at the cemetery,
“Abide with me."
The following gentlemen acted as
