Capt. H. H. Colquitt, of Atlanta,

The most expensive lace a girl has

A man’s ideal girl is one who doe*

Covington Enterprise: “Our peo¬

Georgia Midland railroad extended
from McDonongh to Covington. We
need this road and it would be the
best paying railroad property in the

is considered. It would not require
a very heavy outlay to build this
line.”
Messrs. Huff and Patterson are in
Atlanta, but “never speak as they

with them, however, though Mr.
Huff says he thinks there has been
some kind of a misunderstanding in
the committee which was to have
settled the trouble between him and
Mr. Patterson.
Taffy John was turning liis peanut

slow and measured hand, when an
old woman came to a halt and care¬

scrutinizing the roaster from every

attempting to cross Snake creek,
near WTufcesburg, on Tuesday alter-

swollen by the heavy rain of a few
hours previous. Mr. Kelly crossed
the bridge, but a channel had been
washed out across the road on the
opposite side, in which the water wa*
running swift and deep. When Mr.
Kelly entered this his horse mod bug¬

Mr. Kelly caught to a limb and thus
saved himself, but at last accounts
