“The word scrofula comes from

LOWEST CASH PRICES
lined cotton seed oil is a pure veg
etable oil, as wholesome and ns
lelieute as olive oil. It is better
for biscuit and frying purposes
than lard, not scorching so easily;
it is as good as butter for cakes.
Wo. know many of the lirst families
of this city who are using it, nnd
think it far better than lard. It is
much cheaper. The wholesale
price by the barrel is only fifty
cents per gallon; retail price, from
seventy to seventy-live edits per
gallon or ten cents per pound. One
pound goes farther than a pound
of lard. These are seven and one
half pounds of oil in a gallon, anil
at seventy-live cents per gallon, it
would he ten cents per pound.
Lard is fourlocn cents per pound.
As I wo-liiinls of a pound of oil is
quivnlcnt to a pound of lard it is
clone that the oil is from four t*
five cents cheaper per pound than
laid and a thousand limes more
wholesome. A very line quality of
this oil, so cheap and excellent lin
king purposes, can he obtained
at any of the cotton seed oil mills.
It is lime our people slopped
piiltuning themselves with ling's
