Hint.. Capt. W. A. Seale has secured the contract for furnishing the cross ties and the lumber for the trestle work^for the new railroad. All day long Sunday the road to the new railroad was filled with carriages and pedestrians, going out to see the new railroad. The people here take a great interest in its being built. A wagon loaded with cotton passed through town Monday last going to Americas. The building of the A. P. A L. Railroad has al ready lmd some offeot on the move ment of cotton.—Lumpkin Inde pendent. He begged the doctor “for God’s sake not to let me have so much misery,” meaning that lie wanted large doses of mor phine.
