Such an Association has recently been organized in Hawkinsville, ami the News thus explains its objects and benefits, which we commend lo a careful perusal : The object of the Association is the accumulation of money for the use of its members by monthly in stallments paid in by the stock holders. Each share is ior $100, to lie paid up by monthly installments of one dollar. These payments of one dollar per month will be slop ped by the Directors whenever the available assets of the Associa tion will pay up dollar for dollar the stock on which money has not been borrowed. This will proba- lily occur in five or six years. Each member can get an ad vance of $200 oil each share of stock. From this $200 will lie de ducted the premium bid. The minimum amount of the premium will probably bo about forty per cent, lu addition to the premium each borrower will pay aix per cent, interest on the next amount of mon ey received. Security, approved by the Board of Directors, will have to be given for all advances or loans, and the share advanced on will be held by the Association as security also. The money bor rowed will lie paid hack by month ly installments of $2.00, which in cludes the regular monthly install ment on the share of stock. The interest is paid monthly. Every month the funds on band are loaned out to the highest bid der, at a meeting of the stockhold ers. Any white person capable of contracting and bolding property, may became a mcuiber- No person will bc allowed lo take more tlmn forty shares of stock. The By Laws are made by the members, and a'l officers nro elec ted by the members, each member having one vote for each share of atock owned or subscribed lor. The Association is incorporated for nine years. It at any time a stockholder wishes to withdraw, lie may do so, ami take out all the monthly install monts he has paid in, provided he has not received an advance, and has paid up all dues. So you eau always ‘‘get your money hack,” just as if you were depositing in a bank. But you will not wish to with draw when you can sell at a prom-, ium. Your stock will he constantly i increasing in value. Do you wish to make an invest ment ? This is your chance. Are you a renter? Take stock, and build you a house for the sair.t money you are paying as rent. JJAre you a farmer and wish to i borrow money?
