Another load of those “express package” bales of eottou canto in from W. H. Morgan's farm in Dooly county, late yesterday after noon. The aggregate weight of the load of nine bales was 4,083 pound*. Saturday and Sunday afternoons the down passenger traius were loaded with dusky visitors, who were going down to the association meeting in Smithville. Saturday last the Mill Creek Club, out near Gatewood’s, played the Sand Hill Nine, from down about the river, on their grounds, a few miles from this city. The Tbe Creek club is composed of small boys, while the Sand Hill nine has a good number of large ones. The Creek club wus victor ious by a score of 32 to 47. About Spelling.
