A Hard Fall.
Sunday night about 10:30 the
council beli in the court house
yard was rang very violently. The
cause was that a negro woman
from Dooly county, unacquainted
with the city, had fallen off the
bank near Liberty Hall, nnd broke
her leg, and had sent some one to
the square for heip. She was ou
her way to church, and got on that
side of the street, not knowing of
the high embankment- She was
carried to a house near by and
cared for.
