The first thing that attracted our

bay, etc. One variety of bay struck
us as a novelty. It is gronud-prn
hay. The vines are pulled sod
cured before frost, anu the peanuts
ate left 00 them, so that the bay
is exceedingly nutritious. ’Squire
Logan ha* only cultivated the farm
one year, and his success it won
derful. lie is constantly improving
his buildings, and is bringing the
land up to a high stale of cultiva
tion. On one two*a«r« field, b(
raised three good bales of cotton.

chased another fine farm in Terrell,
