SELLS COME NOV C7.
Thursday next that mighty man
agerial trio, the three brothers KelJs,
reign supreme in this city. Noearth-

loyal subjects than do the Messrs.
Hells. Everywhere—North, South,
Kant and West—they are univer
sally recognized as the foremost
purveyors in their peeuliar realm,
and
NO ONE DARES DISPUTE
their leadership. The Messrs. Hells
have toured the country with num
erous notable tented coinldnatirnr
in the past, but this year’s organiz
ation is pronounced the hugliest
and finest of them all. The busi
ness this season has been something
unprecedented. Vast crowds daily
witnessed the amazing arcnic feats,
the Htu)>cndotiH zoological display,
the stirring firemen’s contests and
gladiatorial combats, (lie rushing
thundering hippodrome races and j
the thrillingexploitsof Pawnee Bill, \
and his band of scouts, cowboys
and Indians, and every spectator has I
been enthused as he never was be- 'rm\Li;r|
fore. Tiie show will be seen here j HIAJEFLL
in all its richest lustre ami complete
ness, the entire paraphernalia hav
ing been rerttted and reburnislied
for the southern trip. Several im
portant special attractions have
been added—notably the (liifort
Brothers, who impersonate classic
statuary to the life; St irk and Zeno,
the world’s greatest jerialists; and
the sensational acrobats, the Pliar-
lons. The Messrs. Sells are deter
mined that their present tourof the
South shall be a mentor hie one, and
have
LEFT NO STONE I NTERNED
to accomplish that purpose. Neither
of the other two noted shows—
Barnum’s and Forepaugh’a—will
visit the southern circuit this sea
son: hence those who desire to see
a big circus with all the latest ad
juncts would do well to attend the
Sells’ establishment. The princely
street pageant will start from tlie
grounds at ten o’clock Thursday
morning, and will traverse the
principal thoroughfares. Two per
formances will be given at L’ ami 8
p. ni., the doors opening an hour
earlier.
The indications point to an over
flowing attendance.
