COSTKICHT 1890
After dinner,
If you have discomfort ami suffer
ing, take Dr. I’iercc’a Pleasant
Pellets, or Anti-Bilious Granules.
They’re made to assist Nature in
her own way — quietly, but thor
oughly. What the old-fashioned
par did forcibly, these do mildly
and geniiy. They do more, too.
Their effects aro lasting; they
regulate the system, as well as
cleanse and renovate it. One little
Pellet’s p gentle laxative; three to
four act as a cathartic. They’re
the smallest, cheapest, the easiest
to take. Unequaled as a Liver
Pill. Sick Headache, Bilious Head
ache, Constipation, Indigestion, Bil
ious Attacks, and all derangements
of the stomach and bowels, are
promptly relieved and permanently
cured.
They’re the cheapest pill 3-011 can
buy, because they’re guaranteed to
give satisfaction, or your money is
returned.
You only pay for the good you
get.
Can you ask more ?

A Musical Prwligy.
There is a musical prodigy near

at sight. The most difficult music is
plain to him. The characters seem
to photograph themselves on his
brain, and one glance is sufficient to
make him understand a song 8<*me
time ago a singing class was in sea
si on, and little Micajah and his father
were present. The little fellow list
ened attentively, and Ills quick tnd
sensitive ear soon discoveied that the
singing was out of time. He stood it
as long as he could, and then, jump
ing up, he waved his band and led
the singing in the most approved
fashion, to the astonishment of all
who were present. He Is perfectly
entranced when any one is playiug

ill a passion immediately.
How i» Itenutiful Flower Wm Named.
An old legend tells of two lovers,
walking by the river Rhine. The lady
begged her suitor to pluck a little pale-
blue flower, growing on the bank. In
doing so, lie fell into the water, and was
drowned; but while sinking, he throw
the flower to her and cried: “Forget me
not!” Thousands of women will never
forget what I)r. I’iercc’s Favorite Prc

We buy lamp-chimneys
by the dozen; they go on
snapping and popping and
flying in pieces; and we go
on buying the very same
chimneys year after year.
Our dealer is willing to
sell us a chimney a week
for every lamp we burn—a
hundred or more a year—
and we plow for him, pay
him for goading us.
Macbeth’s “ pearl top ”
and “pearl glass” do not
break from heat; they are
made of tough glass.
As likely as not our
dealer would rather his
chimneys would break;
