Nothing like it
—Dr. Pierce’s Favorite Prescrip
tion. It’s as peculiar in its compo
sition, as in its curative effects, in
all the diseases and disorders that
affiict womankind. It’s a legitimate
medicine—an invigorating, restora
tive tonic, a soothing and strength
ening nervine, and a positive rem
edy for female weaknesses and
ailments. All functional disturb
ances, irregularities, and derange
ments are cured by it. There’s
nothing like it in the way it acts—
there’s nothing like it in the way
it’s sold. It’s guaranteed to give
satisfaction in every case, or the
money paid for it is promptly re
funded.

Merchants cared not for A rush
For any other fare,
Than Johnny c*ke and mush."
But now times have changed and the
plain and simple fare of the forefathers
is done away with. Patent Hour, and
high seasoned fond and stroug drinks,
have taken its place, and as a result,
dyspepsia, impure blood, and diseases
of the stomach, liver and lungs are nu
merous. The great change has led one of
the most skillful physicians of the age
to study out a remedy for these modern
diseases, which he has named his (iold-
en Medical Discovery. Dr. Pierce in this
remedy has found a cure for Dyspepsia,
Bronchitis, Asthma, Consumption,in its
early stages, and “Liver Complaints,“
