HELP! HELP! THE LADY FARTS.
M *Tia tho twink of an eye,
"TIM the draught of a breath,
lYom tho blossom of health.
To the pulcui tw of death.'*
When sudden fainting spell* come
upon a lady, you may always suspect
«oine uterine disturbances or trouble, or
some great disorder in the circulation and
nerve centers. A remedy that has al
ways proved successful in wardingoff and
removing the tendency to a recurrence of
fainting spells — that removes the cause
of them, corrects the circulation of blood,
and gives to the system that even run
ning nervous energy so essential, is Dr.
Plen*'* Favorite Prescription.
The “ Prescription ** Is guaranteed to
give satisfaction in every case, or money
refunded. Xotiiing else does as much.
You only pay for tho good you get.
Can you ask more ?
As a regulator and promoter of func
tional action, at the critical period of
change from girlhood to womanhood,
“Favorite Prescription" Is a perfectly
safe remedial agent, and can produce
ofilt gtfVt results. It is equally effica
cious and valuable in Its effects when
taken for those disorders and derange
ments incident to that later and most
critical period, known as “The change
of Life/ ,
This is the way
with the Ball corset: if you
want ease and shapeliness,
you buy it—but you don’t
keep it unless you like it.
After two or three weeks’
wear, you can return it and
have vpur money.
' ' Comfort isn’t all of It
though. Soft Eyelets, and
"bones" that can’t break or
kink—Ball’s corsets have
both of these.

Dr. W. A. Duncan’s experiment in
grape growing in Dougherty county
has proved eminently successful
and our people arc now so thorough
|y convinced <>f the practicability of
growing profitably the vine, that
they are planning to put in vine
yards. The News and Advertiser
labored long to write our people inlo
a confidence in the conditions of our
soil and Uimate for those products
(list offer such promise in dlverslfi
cation of crops. We have frequently
stated that the sunny slopes of Cali
ferula nor the vine clad hills of
France were better adapted to the
growth and maturity of grapes than
the-oil of Dougherty county.
I'he isothermal line that passes

Greece and over Athens, which fact
encouraged us in proclaiming the
conditions that obtain here equal to
those under which the highest civili

Like results may be expected under
similar condition, and we are em
boldened *o believe that mind and
matter will untold in as pleasing
manifestations In Dougherty county
as in Greece, the mother of philoso

fact Is that history demonstrates that
agricultural communities bare at

characteristic is a bold originality
and lordly Independence. This seem

reflection, for chill penury, that re
presses a noble rage, should never be
felt in an agricultural country of
such rich possibilities—where grapes
