This is the way
with the Ball corset: if you
want ease and shapeliness,
you buy It—but you don't
keep it unless you like it.
After two or three weeks’
wear, you can return it and

A Hop IMcker.
Tho record of tho fertility of American
ingenuity has been increased by tho ad
dition of tho invention of a machine for
picking hops. It is claimed this ina-
chine will ilo tho work as clean and
much more rapidly than it can bo dono
by hand The apparatus is mounted on
a wooden frame, heavy enough to insure
stability, anti is about 7 feet long by 5
feet wide and 4 feet high.
Tho branches of the hop bino are fed
into a receiver and aro seized between
two rollers and gradually pulled through.
The hops fall into an inclined screen,
and by their own weight fall into the
box prepared to receive them. Tho
leaves and bines fall on the saino screen,
but are carried back by tho returning
motion and thrown into a separate pile.
It requires only one man to turn tho
wheel and another to feed bines into the
rollers.—Boston Transcript
