ere’ Trust Natural Gas company of this
lity is uunoyeil by vexatious litigation,
growing out of its inability to supply
patrons and its attempt to udvance
rates. It filed answer in a case where a
customer is tiuing for a supply of gas,
iu which the plea is made that it al
ready has 10,170 patrons, who are using
all the gas which can be supplied; that
repeated efforts to float its bonds and
secure money with which to enlarge its
plant have failed, and that it lias no
money with which to meet further de-
mnnils. The nnswer also says that not-
wifhstamUng the present low rate of
temperature the supply ia hardly ad
equate to the demands of consumers,
ami that it cannot make new connec
tions without the risk of injuring them.
