Amerlcus will have. to contain her
soul In patience nbout the free delivery
service, since all Information received
from the post-office department of the
United States Is rather vague and indefi
nite.
For quite a while Amerlcus has been
waiting in momentary expectation of re
ceiving orders from headquarters that
would secure her the free delivery ser
vice.
Postmaster Honey has been tireless in
his efforts to further this affair and be is
very confident that Its establishment Is
only a question of time.
When seen by a Timks-Kkcom.kii re
porter he said: “I feel confident that
the free delivery servlee Is only a ques
tion of a few weeks. . I received n-leitter
from the department some days since,
and am expecting another that will
state with certainty the time we can ex
pect the free dellvery.servlce.”
Subjoined can he aeen the letter.
